The impact of mental illness and emotional challenges can be tremendous and even life-threatening. Children and families without appropriate support in mental health can experience many short and long term effects of living with such states of health; including but not limited to traumatic stress, undiagnosed mental illness impact their role in the household and in the workforce, and inability to support oneself or one’s family in many ways.
Grupo Folklórico Xochiquetzal is a group sharing folk dance from Mexico in order to share our culture and tradition with our local community for connection building, artistic and cultural and educational purposes.
